  • Where can I get tickets?
    Tickets are available on the Kids Fest Herts ticket webstore by clicking here You will receive an email with your ticket which has a unique booking reference and bar code. You can print out your ticket or show it on your electronic device at the admissions area to gain entry. If you already have tickets and have questions regarding your order, please email info@willowsactivityfarm.com
  • How much are the tickets?
    Tickets are available here. Willows Activity Farm Member discounted tickets are available and must be purchased in advance. If you need to bring a carer with you, please book a free carers ticket and bring proof of status on the day. This can either be: Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance letter dated within the last 12 months Personal Independence Payment (PIP) letter dated within the last 12 months Current and valid Blue Badge A letter from a GP or consultant, dated within the last 12 months, confirming the need for a carer/personal assistant. The carer must be over 16 years of age and capable of assisting the guest who holds the disability. Buy your tickets here
  • Do I still need a ticket if I already have a ticket to visit Willows Activity Farm during the day?
    Yes, Kids Fest Herts is a separately ticketed event that requires its own admission ticket to enter. Buy your tickets here There is no automatic entry for Willows Activity Farm Members. Separate Kids Fest Herts member tickets must be purchased in advance for entry to the Festival Field.
  • Can I buy tickets at the venue on the day?
    We highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance. For spontaneous visitors, remaining tickets will be available at the ticketing office located right by the entrance. We cannot guarantee availability on the day of the event.
  • Is my ticket refundable?
    We have a no refunds policy. Please see the terms and conditions on the ticket page for more information.
  • What if it rains?
    Kids Fest Herts will still go ahead but if it rains continuously for one hour from 3pm, then all Kids Fest Herts ticket holders will receive a complimentary visit to Willows Activity Farm to take place before 10th October 2024.
  • How do I get there?
    To reach us by satellite navigational systems please use the postcode AL4 0PF. From M25 West towards Heathrow Exit the M25 at Junction 22. At the end of the slip road take the third exit off the roundabout. This will take you over the M25. At the next roundabout take the fourth exit onto Coursers Road. Willows Farm Shop is located 300m along here on the left hand side. Willows Activity Farm is 200m along on the left hand side. From M25 East towards M11 Stansted Exit the M25 at Junction 22. At the end of the slip road take the third exit off the roundabout onto Coursers Road. Willows Activity Farm is located 300m along here on the left hand side. From M1 Exit the M25 at Junction 22. At the end of the slip road take the third exit off the roundabout. This will take you over the M25. At the next roundabout take the fourth exit onto Coursers Road. Willows Farm Shop is located 300m along here on the left hand side. Willows Activity Farm is 200m along on the left hand side. From A1(M) Exit the M25 at Junction 22. At the end of the slip road take the third exit off the roundabout onto Coursers Road. Willows Activity Farm is located 300m along here on the left hand side. By Bus The 357, 602 and 84 bus lines have routes that pass near Willows Activity Farm Exit the bus at The Bull public House, Barnet Road, London Colney, which is near to the Colney Fox Hotel and opposite Lowbell Lane. Walk up Lowbell Lane until you come to the Farm Office. Walk past the gate and continue until you come to one of the car parks, walk through the car park and turn left where you will see the entrance to Willows Activity Farm directly in front of you. By Rail Tube Exit the tube at High Barnet and take the number 107 bus towards Edgware. Change to the 357 bus and exit the bus at Colney Fields Retail Park, London Colney. Main Line Exit the mainline at St Albans and walk into the town centre and take the number 84 bus.
  • Is there parking?
    Yes – there is plenty of FREE parking on hard standing car parks. Follow the road form the entrance to Willows Activity Farm to Car Parks 1 or 2.
  • Is Kids Fest Herts wheelchair accessible?
    Willows Activity Farm is a farm-based location and the paths are unpaved but are accessible by wheelchair. If you have specific access needs, please contact us for more information.
  • Are there disabled toilets and nappy changing facilities?
    Yes – these are located around the farm park.
  • Are dogs allowed?
    No, the event is not suitable for pet dogs. Only registered disability assistance dogs are welcomed.
  • Is smoking allowed?
    Willows Activity Farm is strictly a non-smoking site. A designed smoking area is available in Car Park 1.
  • Safety and security
    For the safety and security of everyone at Kids Fest, if you see anything suspicious or any persons acting suspiciously, please tell the nearest member of staff immediately. Please do not leave any belongings unattended at any time. Always keep your children with you.
  • Can I bring my own food and drink?
    We have some delicious food and drink options available at Kids Fest Herts. You can see more details by clicking here. We ask that you do not bring your own food and drink.
  • Will you be serving alcohol?
    There is a grown-up bar ' Gin & Fizz' for the grown ups serving fizz, lager, craft beers, spirits, cider and wine.
  • Can I bring a picnic?
    Visitors can only consume food and drink purchased in the Festival Field and picnics are not permitted in the Festival Field. Picnics can be consumed in Willows Activity Farm but you will not be allowed to bring them into the Festival Field.
